Yes, the App still works. Efficient Driver App works with GPS and doesn’t require mobile data connection for operation. Just make a first time download and go for one-time in-app purchases for an array of functionalities, and use without any internet.

Yes, the analytical data that you receive when you are offline includes driving mistakes, speed of the vehicle, gear, altitude, time, number of passengers, distance and location.

This is a driver advisor app, not a navigational app, to enable better driving practices. The map just runs in the background for every session, such that it shows your movement / current location / starting and destination point on the screen, but does not navigate.

The App currently supports English, Hindi, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Korean, French, German, Russian, Indonesian, Japanese and Thai. The forthcoming releases would be supporting additional languages.

When you download the App, at the initial registration level, it asks you for the specifications about your car. Since the App then becomes customized to your vehicle and its statistics, this App is suitable for any car that you own.

Sensitivity is all about inducing your mind for better driving. Since the app needs to be customized as per your convenience and ease of driving, you can choose the initial setting for running the sensitivity of the app. The default sensitivity in the app is pre-set at ‘Medium’ which is for normal driving, and applies to maximum number of drivers. If the driver is a fast or an aggressive driver, the sensitivity can be changed to ‘High’ Sensitivity (For Harsh Driving), which would mean that only in extremely violating situations, the advices would be prompted. Similarly, if the driver wants to drastically improve his/her skills, the sensitivity can be set at ‘Low’ (for Soft Drivers), making the App prompt solutions and advices at every miniscule point.

In the settings, enter the Car Specification as ‘Automatic’. As a result, there will be no gear advices. The rest of the instructions remain the same.

The App is currently tuned for cars. An advanced version is under development to make the app function for 2 and 3-wheelers, and heavy vehicles.

Since the app deals with sensitive information, sharing has consciously not been enabled in the app. If the data needs to be protected, it is best to have individual access to the app, without the provision of sharing.

The App runs on GPS. It does not make use of data, as a result of which, all the sessions and related info gets stored locally. As usual. The app does not interfere or get affected with the functioning of any other app/tabs.

You can make your login ID with the use of your Facebook profile. The app follows the privacy policy of social media accounts and does not post or change or access account info.
